A few months ago I posted a review of travel guru Rick Steves' latest book Travel As A Political Act. Today I came across this article in Philanthropy Today in which Steves urges those who fall into the upper tax bracket (i.e., wealthy people like him) to donate what they saved on federal tax cuts for the rich to charities. Steves himself just donated $1 million worth of his tax breaks to an arts center near Seattle, where he lives.
This news makes me want to put in a bid to write the sequel to Steves' latest book. I already have the title: Rick Steves Is A Class Act. :-)
